League Play is a fun, social way to play regularly, meet other mahjong lovers, and put your skills to the test in a welcoming, no-pressure atmosphere.
Two ways to league play
Whether you are refining advanced strategies or learning through experience, there is always a seat at one of our tables. Expect friendly matches, rotating tables, light snacks, and a little prize-worthy competition.
Beginner League
Our 4-week Beginner League is customized for players ready to build confidence through consistent, friendly matches.
This is the perfect league for the player looking to learn about scoring, play weekly, and connect with others. Players should be able to complete 3 games in 2 hours of gameplay each week.
Please bring your NMJL card. We provide the rest, including the comfortable club space, table setup, refreshments, and light snacks.
Scoring + Prizes
- Scoring follows NMJL rules
- +10 for self-pick
- +20 for jokerless hand
- +10 for a wall game
- Every player is eligible for door prizes
- Top two cumulative scorers win the grand prize.

- Can’t make every session? No worries.
- Send a sub, or we can help find one.
- 48 hour notice required.
Intermediate League
Our 4-week Intermediate League is designed with the faster-paced, experienced player in mind while keeping the fun, welcoming Royal Palm atmosphere.
Each week, players track points and play multiple games at various tables. The first 4 games of each session count toward total score.
Please bring your NMJL card. We provide the rest, including the comfortable club space, table setup, refreshments, and light snacks.
